Semi peaceful you could go for things like harlequin tusks, hogfish (small ones like Cubans), smaller tangs(bristleltooth or zebrasoma), some of the smaller large angels even like a regal may work or larger dwarf angels like bi color and coral beauty. Top swimmer I would recommend any anthias that are easy to keep like wreckfish and maybe square. Blue throat triggers are amazing too and maybe a hamlet which is a small 4 inch grouper sort of would be cool and maybe a larger wrasse like bird would be cool

What an exciting time for you! Be sure to make smart choices, because the larger the fish, the quicker even a 120 will 'fill up'-- when you factor in rock placement (and sleeping spots), and bioload. @Zach136378 had some neat choices. 😎👍🏻

They can be however none of the fish I have mentioned are super aggresive to others that they cannot eat. Tusks get a bad reputation for their big teeth but trust me they are very docile and I have never seen one be aggresive to anything. I also meant to say hamlets which are basically tiny groupers and again they are not aggresive to anything that they cannot eat. They get about 4 inches so from what you are asking for your stock list should be fine for one. They can be predators but only to tiny fish that they can fit in their mouth

Harlequin tusk, some tricky with survival as of late will outgrow this tank and tangs can be territorial. Establish first if you plan on having any coral and if not, some peaceful will be fisrefish goby, for bottom, a goby and bangaii cardinal for mid tank and schoolers like chromis are all peaceful. How much rock also do you plan on adding to tank ?
Any pics?

[Stock photo]. One of the coolest fish I ever had (in a 150-FOWLR,"), was a Lunare Wrasse. Non-stop action. Mine was a good 7". They sleep in the sand. They can hold their own with aggressive fish.

They are nice but nightmare fish I had one which was about a foot and terrorised the whole tank and would go for anything

Square anthias are lovely I have mine in a 180 I have got a male and female. Getting another female soon. For some reason they are not really hanging around eachover but I love them either way. I think maybe 3 could work in a 120.
