Great looking tank. You said the Glass Cages made that? One thing you might watch for is that firefish and that wrasse might try to jump on that rimless. Just a thought.

wow very impressed! you must make a lot of money or something. you got quite a track record there. in the pic i only see the vortech MP40...where do you have the MP10?

I really like it. will be checking often. :)

Its POTM in December 2010, and its in my avatar, will take more pics soon starphire makes it easy!

that is a very nice tank I love those dimensions. So much that I have the exact same dimensions. i would have went rimless but i like the look of a canopy. None the less man you got a pretty nice set up and you also have a nice camera how much do you use that 100 mm macro just for aquarium stuff or other things...

cool, thanks. I've always heard about sloppy silicone work by those guys, but then others get some decent work out of them. I've been contemplating a tank from them when I upgrade, but not sure yet. I could drive down and pick it up, which would save me maybe 50 bucks or something.

I did have a GC tank, but never got to set it up, and sold it. It was 8 feet long, and needed about 6-8 people to carry. It was a beast.

Why would you sell somthing like that i would love 8 feet the fish you could stuff in there and be happy would be amazing.

It was when I was "getting" out of the hobby, so I didn't think I was gonna use it. It sat in my brothers basement for about a year until I sold it. I do with I had it still.

tell me about it wish i had eight feet and enough money to equip that baby!

Money isn't the issue i dont care who you are. It could take a year to buy it piece by piece but its EIGHT FEET! I can't even the amount of fish you could dump in there. The hard thing would be what not to buy and add to it.

Yeah, I can't imagine the cost to run that thing right now. Just think, 4 x MH fixtures running would keep that electric meter turning :) I've been fortunate enough to where cost isn't much of a problem anymore, but I don't know if I'd want to blow all the money for upkeep :)

i guess thats why you tossed it. Did you recoupe your money atleast i would think not.

You could always go T5 or Led's that would cut down on it alot pending with what T5 fixture you went with.

Oh, I had big plans for that guy, don't get me wrong. The guy I sold it too still has it empty I believe....maybe I could get it back. The biggest thing I DIDN'T like about it was that it was only 18 inches deep. I bought that guy for like $500 dollars with a awesome stand and canopy. Guy even through in a $400 sump cause he was getting out of the hobby.

By the way, how do you like the Reef Octopus SSS? I'm running the Super Reef Octopus Internal 3000 SSS and absolutely love it. Does yours have the bubble blaster pump on it?
