Substrate recomendation

[LetItReef]

Hello R2R,

Planning to upgrade for a new tank and need ideas for a new substrate. Currently have snails and CUC's.

Any recomendations?

Thanks :)

That stuff is all I've ever used since 2001

Rinse it so powerfully it's impossible to cloud in your tank even if swirled around it will not matter to your bacteria rinse for sure, impossible to cloud quality rinse.

It's the first time I use it and it looks phenomenal!!

Is it super fine sand?

im still a fan of Tropic Eden reefflakes. they have other grades/sizes, but the flakes is just about perfect

No, stay away from the super fine sand...its a mess with good flow!
