Probably a bacteria bloom from the sugar dosing. They have lots to feed on, so they multiply rapidly. Not sure on if there are any ill effects, but running carbon along with time will help. I'm sure someone more experienced will pop in soon. All the other inhabitants looking ok?

You can probably just wait, but I, personally, would do a water change. They never hurt!

you have to run a skimmer to pull out all the bacteria you are breeding, by removing them the nutrients they ingest go with them.
