Sump pomp

I have run my 65 gal SW tank for 2 years know.I have about 1/3 of the tang live rock.
Now I'm planing to do a sump ,but is overwhelming to get straight answer or advice about Sump size,return pomp or even how many GPH I need for my 65 gal tank.
This is big investment and I Like to do right way from beginning.
About return pumps which pumps are most reliable in performance (gonna let you long time trouble free)
Any suggestion will be very helpful at this moment how many GPH I need for 65 gal SW tank

Are you concerned with the pump producing a little heat? Do you want and external or internal?

Not really heat is the issue,I prefer internal it is so many of them hard to pick most reliable

internal = eheim 1260 or 1262. work horse pumps. don't use your return pump to circulate your tank. use powerheads instead.

What about overflow are this PVC overflow ever loose the siphon or have to go with overflow box?
