I'm not ready too start my aquarium yet but have been looking for some sun corals. Haven't been able too find anything and just curious as too where I could find some??

Thank you, I have also just noticed I think the gonipiras have somewhat the look I'm looking for. Just something about those sun corals has really caught my eyes.Another canidate is the Dendro Coral (Dendrophyllia fistula). It looks similar, is non-photosynthetic, but tends to stay our more. Sun Coral tends to stay retracted after it eats until it wants to eat again.
The problem with Dendro though is it can't be imported anymore, so the price is higher.

That is great picture of one. I have an aquarium now and can hardly wait till one is in my tank.Placement for sun coral is very important. Put it under the shade of rocks, low flow in upright position for ease of feeding. Need to be fed every few days, very difficult to make them bloom for feeding. I fed mine with blended shrimp, copepods, mysis and gonio powder for smells. Very beautiful creature by the way.
