I have a Radion G4 and I have been playing with the flow in my tank lately. When I create more surface disturbance it has an obvious affect on the lighting, creating a shimmer on everything as the light is bent.

How much will this change my lighting intensity if at all? I have been really happy with my schedule (AB+ @ 70%) so I’m wondering if I will loose anything significant because of the shimmering.

I think it’s minimal. Actually creates random points of higher and lower intensity. Basically what shimmer is.
