SWC Mini HOT Skimmer dimensions ?

Hi all,
I'm in the midst of setting my 40 breeder back up and need some help. I am probably going to be purchasing the SWC Mini HOT skimmer, in the near future. However, in the meantime, I need to know how much space I need to leave, between the back of the 40 breeder and the wall. Unfortunately, none of the online vendors seem to have any dimensional descriptions, on their websites. So, anyone out there have one of these? Help would be MUCH appreciated!!

According to the TBaquatics website, it's approximately 8x8x16. That seems pretty large for a HOB skimmer, so I'm guessing that includes the portion that goes in the tank.

Yeah, I found that information. Unfortunately, I think some of that is in the tank, so don't know how much room to leave, behind the tank...lol. I'm ready to fill this thing up, but I guess I'll need to wait.

There's a couple videos of it on Youtube and it looks like it's about 4-5 inches at most off the back of the tank.

Well, right now, I've got 6" of room. I'm THINKING this should be plenty and am debating setting the tank up, as is. I'll sure be cussing myself later, if I find out I needed 6 1/2" though...lol.

For anyone else who's wondering, I heard back from someone, on another forum, who actually runs this skimmer. The portion of the skimmer, which hangs behind the tank, is 3 1/2".
