So I have two ai primes on my tank currently and today I will be making the switch to a ati 6 bulb sunpower should I move all my corals down at first so they can adjust to the light have mostly zoas/palys and some sps

Instead of repositioning your coral you can put a layer of clear plastic over the lid to diffuse the light. I use painter's plastic which is 4mil and not see through, and use a couple layers of it. Each week or every few days I remove a layer of plastic.

You can do that, or adjust your timer so the new light runs for 2 hrs for a week, then bump up the time by 2 hrs gradually over the course of a month.
