I'm a pretty handy guy I've built every stand that I've ever used underneath of tank. However I've never heard of this Tslot material and would love to learn more

Are you talking about 8020 Aluminum? If so, I have not done a stand, but I have done a removable light rack for my LED's and HO's. I am currently planning a water change cart, complete with a fresh water tank, and old water tank, pump, valves, float switches, etc and would be valved so I could also pump the wastewater into my utility sink. I am also getting ready to build a custom cabinet for my chiller so I can locate it outside right behind the tank. The cabinet will include some Apex gear, EB4 and PM1 to replace the chiller controllers.

But I have though about doing a stand for a future tank with the stuff. As I get more familiar with it, you can pretty much do everything wood can do.

The easiest thing to do in my opinion is figure out what series you need and color. Don't even look at fastening methods until you figure that out! Once you've narrowed down your series sort fasteners by series and color. On the 8020 website there are tabs at the bottom of the fastener page. There you can find suggested hardware, depending on how many holes your fastner has it will suggest the number of pieces you'll need!

I've never build a stand out of it. Just light racks! This is black 10 series.

Do you have a pic of your lighting setup?
