Neoplex is another one that can be helpful for eye infections.

I would go ahead and dose the Kanaplex so you have something present.

Can you upload a pic?

OK so I had a discus (adult) that developed a 'cloudy eye'. I thought debated what to do , etc - I decided to let it go - the eye 'broke' and something came out. Its now back to normal. with no treatment. IDK what the right answer is - but sometimes stressing the fish with treatments/ammonia risk, etc is as bad as letting it be

You would be surprised what can heal without antibiotics. This fish literally had its eye explode - I was sure it would die - it's fine. It's healed.

BTW - is it into the eye - or just the surface? - you could also use topical drops... but thats hard. the problem is that most Antibiotics in the water won't get into that tissue anyway...

I had to take him out because my other fish would have definitely targeted it. Really sucky situation!!!
