Anemones also love them as does everything else. Most people don't use them because they are free and don't come in a colorful box with a Moorish Idol on the cover and it sells for $29.99
with a $2.00 rebate after you mail in a picture of you feeding them to your fish.

I'm going to move some lily bulbs today anyhow...do they prefer the young skinny ones or are any ok?

Problem is solved with the Red Waspfish. Sometimes they eat and sometimes, or most of the time, they seem to be in a coma. But earthworms wakes them right up and they suck down as much as I give them. :D

It rained hard last night and on my morning walk I picked up a few earthworms. I cut them up into bite size pieces and the wiggling sends the fish over the top. My only problem is the 6 line wrasses will eat the worms as fast as I can cut them so I have to feed him first on the other side of the tank. For fish with such a small mouth, 6 line wrasses can eat some large pieces of food.

Computer Geeks, I will have to replace this 18 year old Windows 7 computer soon and was thinking of this one on the left. What do you think?
I already have a laptop and another desktop. I am just concerned it will be to complicated as I love my Windows 7 but it has problems running my 3 D Printer and some other things.

I am told, it has a setting where I can "sort of" set it so it works kind of like a Windows 7 with the bar on top with my favorites. If not, I don't want it and will just get a new spiral notebook.

It's not Windows 99 so it's basically garbage... BUT I had to do the same thing. I think I ended up with Windows 11 and it's not the same. It's basically like if your computer is a website instead of a computer.

All of my notes and appointments are in a spiral notebook. A paper one

I want something simple as I don't stream movies, I have a TV for that, I don't play computer games as that is just stupid and for people with no life. I don't go on Facebook and have no idea what TicTok is for. I don't go on dating sites. I have 50 apps on my phone and I don't now what 48 of them are for.

I am sure my 18 year old computer does all sorts of things but I just need it to turn on without any problems. Go on the net so I can find parts on Amazon for my inventions and do little more. Maybe 3 times a year I need my 3 D printer to work and my Windows 7 has problems with that.

I want the thing to run and look like Windows 7. Is that to much to ask for?

I've never tried earth worms, but I think I'm going to.
The problem I have is cutting them up. Me personally inflicting pain to the earthworm. If the fish inflicts pain/death...that's on the fish

@Paul B Andrew looked at the specs and he said if you can fit it on your desk, the bigger one is a MUCH better value. He said the processor is way better for longer life and the memory is 3x the amount of the smaller one. Also, the larger case will allow for better heat dissipation. (Longer life). He said your monitor most likely won't work with any new computer, but he's looking at them for you now if you want I'll link what he finds.

You can get a laptop or a desktop that will do everything you describe and much more for $300. Go with a name brand like HP, Dell, Asus, Lenovo. Staples often has good deals.

@Paul B he said definitely the one on the right if you want user friendly to run your 3D printer.

I bought a laptop yesterday for my wife. I splurged and bought a 17 inch hp laptop with 12th generation i3 processor and 512g solid state drive for $379. You will have to bit the bullet and use Windows 11 but with a little help you can make it look a little more like older versions of Windows.

Katrina, the larger one it is. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: My monitor has a black stripe going through the screen that blocks out much of what I am reading so I need one of them anyway.

Yes I know. I am typing on a lap top now but I like the keyboard on the desktop better and I have the room for anything. The price isn't much of an issue as the $300.00 or $600.00 isn't going to change my life. I also like the larger monitor I use for the desktop. I'm old. :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Anything I can get to look like Windows 7 is for me. :)

I am not looking for the most powerful computer I can find. There is very little I use the thing for. I spend my time working with my hands building "real tangible" things out of wood, metal, gears and motors. The computer is more for my fish hobby which is just one of my many hobbies. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

@Paul B He found several good priced monitors. He said there is a sweet 32" or 27" that he likes. All very reasonable. He thinks you'd like the bigger-the-better option just for ease of use. Let me know what you think and I'll link them.

I went out and bought a laptop that met all the minimum specifications for running my 3D printer and maybe a couple of updates to the printer as they come across, but not much more. It gets turned on when I need to CAD something for the printer or when I need to load something to the printer. I think I paid $189 for it. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes: Also, I should note that I am a computer nerd and have built many computers in my years on this earth, I just don't have the time or patience for that anymore, especially since it really doesn't save much money. Only perk is building it exactly how you want it.

My son too. I don't have that gift.
