For those of you who use Mesh, do you have issues with Salt clogging the screen? I've always had solid covers and have a lot of salt creep at every seam.
Just throw them in your shower to rinse them off every once in awhile.

I just got these. Yes I was sent two lefts by mistake. The feeding ports are supposed to be on outside corners. The builder / seller apologized and is sending a replacement right side.

It’s completely custom, I got to pick the door size, and location / quantity or aeration holes.

Very nicely made, this was approx 85$ for a set for a 75g tank

Where are these from?

I have RedSea DIY lid with the DD feeding portal. Great cheap option, I’d like to get a top lids cover but over $400 for a lid is crazy.

I have the brs diy a try and they didn't work well for me since we couldn't get the wrap around the light to go well. I happened to win a lid from @Top_Lids and they have been fantastic with the design of it. I had actually almost ordered one a few weeks before the contest started. All of the photos I have seen are great and would absolutely buy a lid from them for my next tank.

Where are these from?

Browse his shop to see examples for other tanks. This is the listing for standard tank sizes

I am aware acrylic can bow, and I confirmed they are not acrylic. It’s a polycarbonate

Acrylic is roughly 17 times more impact-resistant than glass, while polycarbonate is around 200 times stronger than glass

DIY cover. I used acrylic and 1/4 inch clear amazon mesh. Used nylon screws and wing nuts to hold the mesh on. Try to keep water off the lid or the acrylic bows a littke, but ypu can just flip it and screw the nylon screws with the mess to the other side. I have found the bowing now too bad. Best to get the tickest acrylic sheet you can if you go that route. This also makes the netting replacable. Its what i had laying around so it was about 20$ to make.

If you want to up your game a little for a DIY project, draw the lid you want in any 3d modeling tool (I used Sketchup), find a local plastics supplier that does custom work and have them cnc the lid out of polycarbonate (I used 3/8 inch). I got BRS netting and black spline from local hardware store. The cost for the polycarbonate and the machining was around $60.

I went with the D-D Jumpguard Pro DIY Aquarium Cover and have been happy. I do want to upgrade to something like Clearview Lids.

The D-D is more of a DYI that allows for customization so it may be what you are looking for.
Clearview isn't an upgrade at all. DD is the one I keep going back to, and I have multiple "high end" lids.

I had a DIY one and it did okay. It got the job done and well. My only complaint is it was really flimsy. I ended up using epoxy to keep it together better.

On my newest build I went with Top Lids. Yeah it was pricy but the company was on it. Great communication and built it exactly like I drew it up. I would definitely purchase it again. The best part is it is repairable. I always thought the acrylic custom covers were too much. Over the top. But the one I purchased was a minimalist design and looks really good. You can check it out on my build thread.
