I got my 40B done & moved my 45 over today. When I went to move the sand it had a sulfur smell. I was told to replace it so I got some Live sand & used all but 10 gals of my old water(it went to my Q/T tank where my fish are currently at) should I expect any problems with new sand or will I be ok since I used my old water & when is it safe to add my fish?

You should be fine with the sand, if anything you might get a little bloom, but hopefully not. And you should be fine to add he fish whenever you want, I would wait until tomorrow just my opinion though.

I agree with Capt. Nemo. I would wit till my temps of both tanks where the same and the sand has had time to settle. This would cut down the stress on the fish.JMO
