Tank not level :-(

Good evening, so I did I diy stand, and after seeing a few FB post i bought a level to check my tank for leveling and to my surprise it's not.

1st pic front left
2nd pic back left
3rd pic back right
4th pic front right

My tank is a 40 breeder so the last pic is a corner brace I put between the tank and stand.

I did some search on google and a few forums said a braced tank only need support on the four corners, so will be ok with getting a few shims and just placing them on each corner?

Unless the stand top is uneven. In that case, self leveler on the top :)

I think it's the top of the stand

It's only a 40g and not off level much. I'd leave it.

I would also add a foam pad between the tank and stand once you have leveled.

Ok I did see where someone said on a forum that the weight if the tank will even out any warped that may be in the board but I just want to be sure, just for reference a credit card could slide between one of the corners

I would try and even it out. That would annoy me personally. Sand down the side so it becomes level?

Yeah me too, maybe if I didn't know but I guess that's an option

That's off by very little. I wouldn't worry about it but if you do then shim the stand.

I find paint stir sticks work good for leveling stands. But that little bit I probably wouldn’t worry about it. Best of luck
