Tank Re-do Questions

So here is the deal. I have a 29g biocube that has got overrun by mushrooms and majano/aiptasia.therefore i really do not have any corals in tank. i want to start fresh, but can only use the rock i have now. my idea is to remove almost all the rock and let it sit a couple of weeks in a barrel of salt/fresh water to kill everything. then i would reuse the rock after the stuff dies. my question is do you guys think my tank will cycle over again when rock is added back into tank? also i have three fish in there. should i remove them and set up a small 10g for the time being? any help would be appriciated. thanx

Yes, you will go through another cycle. It won't be a huge cycle but it will cycle.
