Tank Unplugged for a Day and a Half: What to Do

Hello,

I run a club teaching members how to maintain freshwater and saltwater tanks at my university. One of the tanks we have is a 13.5 gallon AIO Fluval saltwater tank. One of the members performed a water change by himself, but forgot to plug everything back in and has been unplugged for about a day and a half. We can't find our firefish goby or cleaner neon goby that has been in the tank. I was wondering what next steps I should take to mitigate this problem.

Plug it back in and a full test is in order to see where you stand.

First obvious step is plug it back in then check ammonia and nitrite. Time will tell on the inhabitants and tank may need to cycle again. Of course, water changes always help.

Not sure why everyone thinks "the tank will cycle again"
The bac will not die in two days. There will be no "cycle"

Even if the fish did die, the bac will fix that in short order<a few hours.

I would plug it back in and cross my fingers. Plus, I would put a battery backup on a powerhead if any way possible.

I see the shrimp is still alive, looks like the corals are fine too, so the fish might be alive too. Hoping...

Plug it in and run a little bag of carbon and keep on keeping on!
