Hi my name is chris and I have just joined from Melbourne Australia. I have had a 55 gallon reef tank running for just over 4 months and have just purchased a 120 gallon to upsize to my question is this if I use my current live rock most of the water cheato and marine pure from the sump is it safe just to transfers everything over or should i cycle the new tank then add everything from the current tank

Best bet is to cycle new tank then transfer everything over.

Should I use some live rock to start the cycle new tank. I have caribsea rock for the base structure of the new tank

This is the new setup. Just waiting for some more salt to be delivered today to top off tank. Taken half the rock out of the original tank adding to the caribsea life rock. Should be all up and running today.

Looks terrific...congrats.
