You are correct. I apologize for the oversight on my part. Thanks for pointing that out!I'm so confused. I thought echinata was an LPS and is in the Acanthastrea family
Some people like paintings, some people prefer movies. Both can be beautiful. Not gonna make any friends but….I do not understand why anyone likes acros and other “sticks”. They don’t add any movement/flow to the tank; might as well be rocks.
Just my opinion
Wait till they get bigger. It hurts to watch the SCOP you grew to 8” over 5 years slowly STN because it lost the battle with the Acro colony next to it… Give those frags lots of space!I prefer acroporas but only because they don't enjoy killing their neighbors like most of my preferred LPS.

This, TBH.A big shimmering A.Milliepora gives any LPS serious competition where movement is concerned in my opinion.
Someone should report you this is murder .. you are killing it

I find this is the opinion of most newer hobbyists. once you get several years and tanks under your belt, most appreciate the challenge and colors acros and sps offer. Not gonna make any friends but….I do not understand why anyone likes acros and other “sticks”.
