Here’s a pinkie update! The Male has gained some gorgeous colours as photoed :)
IMG_5750.jpeg

And another update, I was looking at my Carduus and it has these beautiful feather type creatures. They’re in the photo but incredibly hard to see so I added a second with them circled :)
IMG_5749.jpeg

IMG_5751.jpeg

And yes they move. It’s incredibly hypnotising to watch in person :)
My Torch has one. Pretty interesting
Barnacles. Wont luve for long :(
Honestly I’m surprised they’ve lived for a week.
Still alive and seems happy after 2 months with me
i have 1 of them on my torch does it retract then come back out?
They do, mine is usually out most of the day

Although I didn’t grab a Vivienne’s (They aren’t coming in until next Thursday) I did grab a gorgeous Urchin!
I now have 4 urchins over both tanks;
2x Lytechinus variegatus - 4’ tank
1x Mespilia globulus - Nano
1x Tripneustes gratilla - Nano (my new urchin)

Yes I know these guys get huge, I love urchins and think an army is very necessary so I’m calling this guy Commander orange ;)

Here’s my new urchin, T. gracilia! Isn’t the orange and the white on the purple so nice?
image.jpg

And a game of Spot urchin number 1 (M. globulus) not doing his job and instead growing his ‘garden’.

Mine keeps taking my OO Zoas and ONLY my OO Zoas

Tried to talk him into wearing a frag plug as a hat….I guess this is revenge for making him wear the silly thing

It’s basically a Halloween Urchin but with minimal orange spines.
They call them "Rainbow Urchins"? The mostly orange with less purple are Halloween.

Deresa update!
I had to move him again as he just continues to push against the glass.
He’s getting big, I measured 5” so he’ll likely be in this tank for a few months if he continues his growth rate (or I’ll end up with LPS heavy).

And because he looked incredibly nice this morning, here’s a photo of the Deresa without any lighting and simply indirect sun :)

Also hidden away is a Pinkie in this photo ;)

If I’m honest, I also didn’t realise it was there until about 30 minutes of looking at the photo

Ever figure out the asterinas? I've noticed zoas disappearing in my tank which always precede by a bunch of asterina stars. I think I might get a harlequin shrimp.
I’m honestly still not sure, it seems the ones in this tank are alright for now but the ones in the 4’ love certain coral.

And talking about coral, I came home with 2 frags and an invert (Unfortunately I found my Conch dead yesterday so I got a replacement).
Nice. A goniopora and a ??
Good luck. My aquaculture’s one is still doing well. Hopefully all the AFR is adding enough manganese.
