Yes, that is quite the difference & a beautiful fish thank you @scchase . My main concern is if my female could be transitioning to male all by herself in my system. If so and I add a male it could be disastrous.

Would the safer bet be to add another smaller female and let them settle it out? Or would it be best to add a male?

@mrtian97 the regal needs to be in a low competitive environment to get early nourishment as they are shy and not eager to eat normal foods. If you want a hardy bet, go with the other angels. It took me 2-3 weeks to get this one to eat. Which it finally decided to sample clam on the half shell. Took maybe 5 weeks to get her eating normal foods with gusto.

Thanks, I have 2 yellow tail damsels, should I add the angelfish first then the damsels? The damsels are currently in a holding tank

They’re probably fine being added at any time difference, have the angel be bigger than the damsel tho if going small.

Thanks, I will hold off the damsels in the holding tank since the angel I plan to get will be smaller size

Guys I’ve been trying forever and finally my bully flameback is getting along with my multicolor angel. I had to put the flameback in my quarantine for two months cause he kept killing every fish but now I’m so happy

If only. They haven’t been together very long but the two are glued to one another.

The Bandit is very much the boss. Scribbled is just a big ham. Both will hand feed & follow wherever I go. Great little fish.....
