Unfortunately don't have any info on this fish but hopefully bumping this will help find someone who does . Also have some interest in getting a queen or blue and wondered if it would work in a 6 foot 180g with minimal other fish. What size tank did you have your queen in ? Appreciate any other input from anyone who has had one also !
ı wıll put quenn to 165- 75-50 cm long tank. and the fısh has 12 cm lenght. so ı thınk ıt wıll be very happy on these dımensıons :D

Need opinions from the angel experts on these 2 goldflakes. Wanting to make a pair with my current one and know I need a juvenile that still has the eye spot and not sure if these 2 are starting to turn yet.

I just got my captive bred GF in mid November. So far the little guy is thriving.

If you need to have the eye spot to be successful to pair them then I would say you need to pass on the pics you showed in your post. Mine had a more distinct eye spot than yours, but it has started changing already.

Here’s a pic of mine w the spot. Even mine may not have the full and true “spot” necessary.

In unrelated GF news, but relevant to this thread-I ordered a juvenile blue line angel earlier this week. I think by time it is done w QT and in tank the two juveniles will be similar sizes or the blue line may be a hair larger.

I think adding them within 3.5 mos is pretty close to adding them at the same time.

What do you guys think?

Yeah I passed on those 2 but got this juvenile coming once out of quarantine
I think it will be perfect for pairing with the one I have now.

That one is definitely a little older than mine and the others you sent. You can tell by the darker tail, the eye stripe and mouth color change starting. I am curious if that what is considered the “eye spot”?

Maybe some that know more can let me know?

Gorgeous fish.

Too me this one looks younger than the previous ones I posted. The other ones had already developed more black on the dorsal fin.

They came as a juvenile pair. Unusual to see it offered, but they have remained a pair and are doing well together.
How big when you got them? Thanks
I know of one other reefer who keep a pair in a 300 gal tank FOWLR

I got a few nice picture of my Male Flame angel this evening, I though I post it here to show him off. This is a young Male. I am establishing a harem of three for a friend.

My Majestic Angel pair. Captive bred.
The Majestic Angel is in my top 5 all-time favorite large angelfish. There is a point in their transition from juvi to adult where they are mostly midnight blue with their prominent stripes and the orange just starts to peak through noticeably. At that point, it is the most beautiful fish. Mine is at the stage and I'm loving it. I just moved him from 72 days in quarantine to the display and he is hiding or I would post a pic. Yours are lovely!

I agree with you on this fish and when he is most beautiful. Too bad it does lot last for ever. I love the Majestic and the Regal angles. I guess we don't call them Majestic and Regal for nothing. In addition to been beautiful color-wise, they are also a very graceful fish that do not get huge in aquarium.

I was finally able to get a decent picture of my transitioning Majestic Angel. I love this phase of the transition and I’m sad we are about to enter my least favorite phase.

Now that I finally have lights on my aquarium, I can share some good photos of my Genicanthus. I currently have two swallowtails (third is coming from Dr. Reef next week) and a Lamarck.
