New gal here, still in QT obvs ... I dropped some of my (thousands?) majanos in there, and she's hittin' 'em pretty hard ... hopefully (wishfully?) that's her favorite when she gets into my display, and she leaves things like blastos and duncans alone . . .

She's not keen on cameras . . .

Anyone had any luck with a Holacanthus bermudensis in a reef tank? I plan on having mostly soft coral in my tank cause I like the movement they make it’s mesmerizing. The reason I ask is my LFS is auctioning one off and I can get it for around $50

My 11 inch blue face
I'm curious how it's personality has changed over time (assuming you got it small).

Mine is very skittish, even going on a year, anytime I walk by the tank. The only time it sees me is when I feed so I find this interesting.

It definitely spends most of its time in the lower reaches of the tank and is active otherwise.

I understand all dwarf angels can eat corals. I also understand that some of them can be aggressive and tank bullies. I'm looking for one to add as the final fish to my 46 gallon mixed reef tank that will set me up for the fewest headaches.

Rest of my planned stocking list:
pair of juvenile occy clowns (only fish I currently have)
melanarus wrasse
vanderbuilt chromis
flasher wrasse
bicolor blenny

The angels I've thought about are the coral beauty, flame, flameback, or cherub, but i'm open to other suggestions as well.
Recommendations?

For what it's worth in 20 years I've never had a dwarf angel that didn't eat coral.

The two main contributing factors that help limit that eating seems to be having a steady supply of food, say nori in a large clip. You can also have a fish that is more aggressive than the angel to keep it in check.
