Great news the build is carrying on with my tank! yay!!!
did some more calculating if i want a UV or not in this system, last night I have now gone with a firm no. I would not be using it for parasites nor will i be aiming algae as at the minute I will need the algae to blossom in this fish only for the grazers eventually. but I am after keeping the water crystal clear with no yellow tint. (hence the large Carbon containers.
I am now in the process of using a pond sealant to go around the edges of the garage to prevent anything leaking into the kitchen.
my D-D heater controller unit is on the way. and so is about thousand other things.
also my sump will be in the process of being built (will be glass for now) so that will arrive approx late next week.
So what is the next item on my list to buy?
coral sand and plumbing
Plumbing wise i am not sure what sizes i want to use for the return and for the overflow (as i stated at the beginning plumbing really is my biggest weakness in this hobby and i am always afraid of messing up)
I've seen a nice looking sand "reeflowers pearl white sand" not too fussed if it gets too dirty and i feel like it will be nice addition to the tank. so the tank as i started with is currently back on track being built. want to see some pics? of-coarse i have some! at the moment it has no top or bottom fitted on but all the sides are done!
