I had a DIY with 168 Emmiters but since it was open to the tank it was prone to corrosion despite sealing it with Teflon coating. I just switched to three custom Evergrow fixtures from my LFS and couldn't be much happier.

I've got a AI Hydra over my tank. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's been great. It has been over the tank for about 7 months now. The corals are thriving! The colors are great, the storm option is neat too. LOL

DIY Cree with invetronics converters. Royal, blues, white, and a house brand tri mix. One each ratio. Roughly. Looking at adding newer released violet LEDs.
Running for about two years.

I suggest Dimmers on any purchase. I Regret I did not. have eco Ray 60;s and like them but Not Love them. Also did like Marineland reef but not adequate. Radions and kessils are the way to go. Which costs were Much lower which they should be based on the framework on which they are built on.

Revhtree add reef spectrum please.

I plan on purchasing these for my tank and several people on r2r have them.
all LED's are not the same some are good and some are better. I know the reef spectrums use the new creeXT-E 10watt LED's for both cool white and royal blue and cree XP-E blue etc

Running mine on APEX duh! why wouldn't you.

Rapid LED should be put on here

Rapid seems more of a DIY.

I'm curious about the reef breeders, evergrow, and ocean revive fixtures though. To me, they all look the same just sold under diff. companys?

I am using Build My LED's 14k reef light and their super actinic light. (BML wasn't up there)

There seem to be some slight variations between the evergrow and reef breeders. The fixtures I bought (evergrows) have a little bit of a different lighting layout and different pot's than the reef breeders advertised here. Slight, but different.

I believe reef breeders, evergrow and ocean revive all sell something similar to the D120 model. Ocean Revive also has the Arctic S026 model, which definitely looks different. There are some threads with photos if you search here.

I have Apollo LEDs and love them. I can get two for the price of one radion, and is very simple to use and amazing quality. Great par levels, and fully dimmable.

Beautiful tank. I could see a matching canopy on this unit !! Would look like furniture!

Ahaha it does have a canopy, but it is a PITA to work in and I always seem to be needing to get the tongs or claw/rake in there so it sits in the kitchen =/
