Here are some updated phone pictures with a gel filter.

A couple have some blue / purple hints coming through while others are still green / brown

They all have great PE (Not in the pictures because I was moving things around in my frag system) and a couple have also started to lay roots so that's a good sign.

I may take a frag of each and put them in my display since I run T5's and they may color up differently than they would under LED's.

Very nice everyone, now my question is, you got them to color up back by just putting them in your system?
The reason I ask is cause in my case they brown up after 2 to 3 weeks in my tank.

It takes time and good parameters. Try different tank placement after a couple weeks if you don't see color changes.

Verbal update: my 2.5 brownies are doing great! ill have pics soon of them, but two are now fully in the green phase(who knows if they will stay green or develop more) and one is looking purple with bright green polyps, very much like a bonsai, but its starting to develop green tips and other coloration throughout. Using a UV flashlight, all 3 are showing some nice fluorescence potential

I almost misunderstood this thread when I saw it. I thought it was 'post pics of corals that turned brown'.

I got a million of those. My tank is magical in that respect. It can take any colorfull frag and convert it to a shade of brown then to white every time!

Glad I read a few pages in, man would I have been embarrassed. ;Dead

Man that made me laugh!! Next time you come to Phoenix bring some brownies, and I'll send you home with something that has some color! :)
I have to say that I laughed out loud in my office when I read this post. Everyone else that could hear me thinks I'm crazy. Too funny!

I'll try to post more progression pics of my "brownies" today when I get home from work, not much change from last week though.

Ha! You'll never see my tank in threads like this or like 'show us you sps eye candy' 'show us your awesome tank aquascape'.
My tank is one the other side of the tracks... in threads with words in the title like help, dinos, what's this brown stuff, what's the life span of acro, a week? ... I just come over here once in a while to see how the other folks live. ;)

Man you are crazy funny. Don't give up, you will get your tank dialed in sooner or later. Just enjoy the ride to the top. It's the hard work and setbacks that make it worth doing.

Never lose that sense of humor. It's critical. Especially in this hobby. Besides, if I can't laugh at myself, who can I laugh at?

Looking good. More green, less brown is a good first step.

So after hurricane Irma I had no major losses even with 14hrs of a still tank till it was safe to fire up the generator.i started with four large colonies and now I'm down to one without stn or rtn.
And one left with nothing but tips basically. Also five frags that were made of one colony that have some stn. Just been focusing on stability for now we will see if they make it.

A side note is that all my other corals are showing the best colors and growth in last few weeks than I've ever had.

Next time you order I'll have a freebie or two coming your way ;)
Not your fault but much appreciated.
The key is not expecting much from a mariculture brownie but I still have a chance with what's left so there is still hope.
I will be making an order soon though[emoji2]
