I have an IM 40 also. I'm brand new to the hobby but I'd love to see yours
Jason will soon.:) Tank is still in the building stages. I am working on my GHL Doser 2 I picked up at Macna this week. I have a big frag swap coming to Louisville and saving room for corals. I always lay the ground work on a tank putting each piece in place . Just like I am sure Scott is doing.:) My rock work is suspended from the rear wall like a ledge . Here is my inspiration piece.

I just ordered a 50 gallon lagoon myself. Will be doing something really crazy with it. Went with white myself.

Cool! I was going to go with white, but made a concession to my wife, who wanted black, LOL

Hey, good trade off for the woman who encouraged me to build a new reef!

Great thoughts to start this thread, Scott, and I'm sure I'll enjoy getting a peek into your thought process throughout.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

I'm excited to see what you come up with, Scott - and to say Hi at Reefapalooza, too! Hopefully I'll have a little cash on me to buy something from you, too.

My innovative marine lagoon 25 will be here tomorrow. Downsizing my 93g. I plan to run a maxspect nano over it. Hopefully I can get it up and going tomorrow by the end of the day. Anxious to see what kinda rocks cape will come out of a lagoon style tank.

Few starter shots, I will be building a stand for it within the next week but I need to get it setup now so I can take down my 93 gallon. Got it wet with some sand. Letting it clear up a bit then gonna start on rock scape. I have mangroves coming in next week, and the ceiling cables for the light hung where it will be placed. I'll keep updates on pics.

It's extremely hard to get a good picture do to the light sitting rite on top of the water for rite now. A lot of dark spots. Here is the progress on the scape at least what you can see. I have a green torch colony and a purple one that will be going in separate corners, a pair of designer clowns and a cleaner shrimp. I'm gonna wait a few days to add those guys tho.

Yes black sand. Hard to get a good shot of the tank on camera. It's crystal clear tho these are sharp looking little tanks. Here is a few more updated shots. Stand and light hanging will be built next week.. had to re arrange some tonga for the mangroves (I know light isn't high enough. It will have to do till I get everything moved.) But I'm gonna try and get some tonga coming back out of the water again.
