The Lone Survivor

I received a couple frags of corals from an online seller back in February and everything except for one was DOA. Even the candy cane was looking pretty rough, however, I think I’ve managed to save it (well one head, but the others literally disintegrated after 12 hours in my tank) and it actually looks like it’s beginning to split.

My first LPS coral so just had to share.

Thanks! I'm particularly proud of this one since it was in pretty terrible condition to start. Sure it's an easier to keep coral, but still nice to see hard work paying off!

Ironically, even the GSP that came in the shipment didn't survive, but this one managed to live.

It’s funny when gsp died before something like lps but I’ve been there too haha
