5's not bad. and where my level usually is, the tank takes the whole sump without issue. if the pump shuts off I'm in trouble as I have no syphon break.

Maybe I should give more than a half-donkey...
easier to fix it then clean it up and then fix it.

lol it’s bad when it happens a month after move in. Thankfully I caught it when I did. No damage occurred so not as nightmarish as the 20 gallons from the leak. Even that wasn’t as bad as it could have been. No real damage there either although it took out a power strip and two extension cords.
I had a 55 pop Sunday about 945pm. Heard dripping and went to explore. That was a rough night.
A small drill bit works wonders on return piping... I think I drilled (2) 3/32nd inch holes just at the running water level.
I think I went too big on the saltwater. I have a small gyser.
easier to fix it then clean it up and then fix it.
You got me there.

Planted, big water change, sump swapped, ato planned, syphon break drilled. Still got a lot of plants from the tropical tray. I wish I were ready for the dutch scape I want in my office, but I can't scramble that quickly.

In reef news, got some fussy gonis. Any advice? I can test parameters maybe tomorrow (Friday for alk, out of reagent) but everything has historically been pretty stable.

It could be related to my nukes leathers. I think my alk dosing technique got them. They were directly in the flow before the cloud dissipated.

Great picture! I love the tufts on the dorsal fins. Do any other fish have tufts that go sideways??
Also how is yours? Mine was not a model citizen

Looking great!
Thanks! He seemed to pose for it, or he didn't trust me.

He's better since the upgrade, but I still don't fully trust him to be chill. Glad to hear there are nice ones out there though! No other tufts anywhere.
