But you're special. :PI'm buzzed 1/2 through the first one.
Two of the babies died. One was still in the net when I put them in the container to acclimate them...I swore I saw all three. The other started swimming funny when I put them in the tank..moved him to the sump and he was dead 30 minutes later.
I probably won’t be around much. My heart is broken. It hurts when I lose one, but knowing I left one in the net.. I wish I had left them!at the store. At the moment, I‘m ready to give up the tank. Maybe I’ll feel differently in a few days..
stay safe everyone
i am sorry to hear this...at a loss of words...Soooo, major buzz killer, I've been on the phone with my former employees off and on for the past few hours and it has been brought to my attention that they weren't taken very good care of after I left. Most were left to fend for themselves. I'm feeling very heartbroken for them. Not only were they my employees, they were my friends/family, i feel responsible for where they are now...they say they're ok, but you can hear in their voice they aren't where they want to be. Its heart breaking.
Yeah I really have no words for it either...I hand picked these guys for what they knew and what they could do...wish I could move them all up here where I am currently, because I could put them to work immediately and make it worth it for them.i am sorry to hear this...at a loss of words...
Sorry to hear. Unfortunately, loss is part of this hobby. There isn't a reefer out there that hasn't been where you are now. Personally, I have never had good luck with those fish and have avoided them since I lost a mated pair that seemed fine one day and gone the next. I never did know what happened to them. The tank was full of healthy fish and corals, yet they perished without any apparent cause. Don't give up because of this setback. You are obviously passionate about the hobby and there will be many good days ahead. Two of the babies died.
