Okay guys I got the Hydra 26 done but had to leave and drive back home so I will post up all the numbers tomorrow as I am tired and need some sleep.

Nevertheless, the Noopsyche numbers were still impressive!
Yes they are, and looking at the price point it has a lot going for it. Could be another good light the hobby needs.

What’s the recommended spacing for the Noopsyche lights? Is it 24x24 like most LEDs?
If you look at this page he listed the recommended number of lights for each tank for sps or lps. After seeing what this light does initially I would not hesitate to go 2 on a lps tank or maybe 4 on a pure sps tank. They list 6 ideally for a 48in sps tank for overlapping coverage but I feel 3-4 would do it depending on the height of the tank.
I will know more when we do a few more tests down the road. So far I am impressed, but it really needs to be tested further.

Okay guys good night and in the morning I will post some numbers for you.

Thanks for all of your time and effort on doing this test.

Okay guys here are the numbers for the Hydra 26hd with the same parameters as the other 2 lights:

As you can see I have changed the grid to a more readable version.
So far here are the tests we have done so far:

I think we can all agree on what we want a good light to have
A) Good output (All the lights tested had good output even the Kessil as it relies on spectrum/coverage area more than intensity)
B) Control
1. Kessil has a nice controller I hear but it is 99$
2. Ai Hydra has a really nice controller and out of what I tested here I like it the best(Just my opinion)
3.The Noopsyche K7 has a nice no frills simple controller that is easy to use and does the job well it costs 59$
4. The Radion XR15 pro has separate control so will learn more about it on the 31st
C)Price
1)Kessil 360x is 449$ + mounting + controller is desired @99$ (Great light but for that price it is not my cup of tea)
2)Hydra 26hd is 349$ and does not need a controller but have to buy mounting or diy
3)Radion XR15w g4 pro is 399$ and needs a reeflink controller or apex. Since I have not tested yet I will give my input later.
4)Noopsyche K7 ProII is 247$ with controller and mounting hardware that is very nice.
In my opinion this light is hard to beat as it ticks all the right boxes for me. I would buy these right now for my personal tank(80g frag tank) BUT,
I think it needs a little bit more stringent testing before I go hog wild about it.
I will go back to the shop tomorrow and get us some numbers on the Radion.

I'm in agreement with you and I think a lot of people might be surprised with the outcomes, so far!

agree with what you say manose. only thing I wish is that the chinese light companies would take notice of what botiques like nanobox are starting to use and use mint leds, in place of most of the white. no need for green leds also. that said its a ballanced light. do we have any specs on how much they are driving the RB lights vs the Whites? I"m assuming 5watt royal blues and 3 watt whites looking at specs but i'm just guessing

I’ve always wanted to do some spec comparisons and tear downs of the product guts - any interest?
Those are important and I would be interested to see how good the internals are on all these lights.

Oh snap! I really didn't expect that!

Now this would also be very cool and interesting!
