I am treating the tank to try to stay ahead of the algae.
I am keeping the alk around 7.3 with 15 ml of balling salts .
This is how the tank looks today.
There is no micro algae on the back wall .

Started seeing algae making it's way back into my life.
So much for the Fluco and h202 rock bath . It's not as bad as before but Bubble algae is growing well.

Man! That stuff drives me crazy! The only way I've ever gotten rid of it was by scraping it off. After a few months I think it finally gave up. I did massive water changes every scrape session too. Good luck bro!

Also... We're all still watching. ;)

Leo My man. How's life treating you?
I'm not sure about scraping it off n bucket washing again. I'm glad you won the bubble algae battle. This 1 is just starting.

This Japanese toadstool is over 4 years old. I've only shared it +-2 times. It's amazing it stays so small.

Well .. I got the skins tubing added and dosing pump is connected up , calibrated n programmed. What the heck did I do with those balling salts ? I couldn't find the box .
I decided to only use 2 pumps . I will be dosing TM carbo calcium for ca n dkh ( one solution) for pump 1 . Pump 2 will be TM Balling Salts Part C for mag n trace elements.
Hopefully those powders will show up in a few days.
I almost wanted to try a homemade all for reef mixture but decided this might be more economical.
I'll explain later .

Looking clean bro! Living the new pump setup

Where'd you get that toadstool? Daddy likey!!!

Thanks Leo
I just finished setting up the doser today. Now its alk testing time . Jury is still out on the doser but so far so good.
The toadstool is the Japanese Green Toadstool. I got it from rnegret aka "cornbread " . It's not to be confused with the tyree 1. This one stays small .
