I have a melanurus and a carpenter's flasher in my 65 I was wondering if I could add a yellow wrasse or if not, maybe you could recommend some others?

A yellow coris should be fine, but I would recommend using a social acclimation box to introduce.

Hey guys thought I would share a video of the two flame wrasse that were delivered today from LA

Question for the wrasse gurus. I have a 90g Reef and am wondering if adding a lineatus and flame wrasse would be problematic to a tank containing the following fish.

3 Bartlett’s (2 males 1 female)
Purple fire fish
2 DaVinci Clowns
1 Copperband Butterfly
2 Potters Leopard Wrasses (1 male 1 female)
2 Blue Star Leopard Wrasses (1 transitioning male 1 female)

Bad news ... rock nem captured my leopard Wrasse and after I freed it ... wasn’t doing well ... hopefully it makes it.

Ug. That sucks. Wounds? Keep and eye on it and I would be prepared to pull it and possibly treat with antibiotic.

No compatibility issues there.

Melanurus males have green snout. Is this one of the first sign that a Juvi/female is changing when she develops a green about?

No, it has more to do with the facial pattern changing and color and pattern on the caudal fin developing.

Hi guys! Okay....I have never ordered online before....I am considering placing a order with LA. For those of you who have ordered from LA what is the salinity in the bag? If you are going to not QT what acclimation method do you use? When I have gotten fish from my LFS when their salinity was at 1.020 I dripped for 60 min and every 10 min added a 1/2 cup of water. Also, how many of you have success stories ordering from LA? I am nervous, but my usually reliable LFS is having issues getting stock in and getting healthy stock, so I thought I would try LA. Thanks in advance!

My fishes came in at 25 ppt. From now on will get a bucket with salinity at 25 ppt. If the fish is in distress I just dump it directly to my bucket with air stone (no/minimal water from the bag). From there I do slow drip to get it up to the tank salinity. That was essentially what I did for my Potter wrasse which were 1/2 dead and I was able to save them.

Agreed you should be fine. I do think your tank is alittle small for the Lineatus. Im very envious you have both Potters Wrasses

Packed in plenty of water and in separate bags. I was surprised that there wasn't a cooling pack, the warter temp was 80
and salinity IIRC was 1.021, i drip acclimated them for about 45 min. they barely moved during that time. I placed them in QT with a red light on just to watch for awhile and see if they were swimming around ok, then lights out for about 4 hours. Turned full light on offer a few mysis shrimp and they actively feed. started Prazipro today
