anyone have experience with gold nugget wrasse Xenojulis margaritaceus? One of the local vendors had 6 come in for a very very affordable price. I really want one, I am just very hesitant right now because I know very little about this fish.
I did a search and several people mention that they were reef safe and very similar to leopard wrasses.

It will go in a 90g cube with some squareback anthias, checkerboard wrasses, firefish, copperband and a scopas tang.

Yes, they are similar to leopard wrasses and are reef safe. Depending on how long you've had your checkerboard wrasse it may not accept a new wrasse addition so I highly recommend using an acclimation box if you decide to get one. Established checkerboards can be pretty awful to new wrasses.

the gold nugget is like 4", the checkerboard is about 1.5". The checkerboard is under quarantine right now.
If anything, I will introduce the fish to the tank at the same time. I am also thinking adding a pintail as well. All will be introduced at the same time

She's doing great actually! Gaining weight, and exploring more and more.

I found out this morning my wife has been feeding her a chunk of frozen mysis in the early morning when she wakes up before any other fish are awake, along with pellets around 10am, and more frozen in the evening. Explains why my nutrients have been going up lol.

That’s great news!! I’d lower one chunk of mysis when feeding in the day and leave the 1 chum of mysis in the early morning if she’s doing alright due to that though :)

I got some nice photos of the radiant (The sunlight hit at the right angle and got rid of most of the blue):

I got the Cebu Lubbock and the black margin’s tail aswell in some nice detail so I’m pretty glad about that.
Also some photos of the Jade:

As for their aggression, I would say it’s getting worse but actually it’s just one chase every night and then dorsal fins go up and they just “court” eachother as they swim by.
So it is calming down MUCH more now.

My Cirrhilabrus jordani, The Flame Fairy Wrasse. I suspect this is the only one I will ever own now that the fishery in Hawaii shut down for all practical purposes.
I hope he will continue to develop into a looker, he is already, but a better looker.

Here's my female. She shows me her teeth and attacks me through the glass... some women just don't like other women ;Hilarious

Do you also have a male? Your female is mature but not changing to a male

I don't have a male radiant, but I do have a male earmuff. Even though I don't notice them interacting much, he could still be keeping her from transitioning.

My Diamond Tail (P. attenuatus) courting his Lady. I raised these from babies that are about 1.25 inches. The male prevent the other fish from sex change. The male have very high libido. He court her everyday, in the afternoon. If you have a large enough tank, I highly recomended a pair or trio. Mine is 320 DT.
