You have to admit, Pseudocheilinus citrinus is a beautiful species many would love if they got along with other wrasses ;)

Well she finally got out of the sand. Everyone is leaving her be, but my current sand sleepers, are already sleeping. No real interest in food, but does seem to be hunting pods off my rocks.

Good morning! as my lights are going down for the night. LOL

Is it getting more gold dots?
It looks like he is!
Fingers crossed he gains to full male body colours and starts to look like the males that were coming in last year.

Will the tamarin eat brittle stars?

I see her cruising around, and pecking at my pavona. An entire colony of brittle stars lives in that coral.
I believe they can nip at them but the micros are generally the ones that can get eaten.
Even then, I don’t believe a tamarin will take out the whole rock and more just feed on the young.

Fwiw, my Pseudocheilinus evanidus seems much better behaved then any of the Pseudocheilinus hexataenia I've ever kept...

Probably jinxing myself, but hey, it's the truth.

Ha, it seems every time I say “I’ve never had that happen!” Within the next week it happens.
