You think they’ll eventually accept the wrasse? I’ve never had one of these before so I’m not sure how it’ll play out

I might be an odd ball but once a wrasse can settle in a new tank they don’t take any bullying from tangs. My mimic would try and keep a radiant out of her home and the radiant would tail whip her hard so tang gave up.

They seem to hold themselves pretty well so far, only the angelfish keeps being a turd but overall the wrasse is much more agile and faster than them

Just watch them. If it is eating and starting to come out it should be fine. If fish stays hiding and not eating you may need to Intervene

Just fed, came out for a couple of bites and then retreated. Guess just gotta give them time to get used to the new fish in the community

My radiant seems to hate bullies and will show aggression to anyone, even if they’re notoriously aggressive (I actually think my jade has submitted to the iridis for now).

Melanomarginatus is a notoriously aggressive wrasse… Mines a wuss! Swims away from all aggressors or similar species, even the Lubbockis when they swim by him he’ll usually go the other way.

My Cebu lubbocki is relatively aggressive (Usually only flashing with the Indo lubbocki every few nights - The Indonesian Lubbock will flash almost every day but is so hard to get shots of)

Tangs are just being tangs… I now stick with Ctenochaetus after dealing with several other species of tang.

Lol @ this, its so true. I do love the bristletooth tangs, but they are elusive to living much like a copperband is to me.

Been home the past few days so I can tank watch and I'm noticing a random flashing around the pair of skunk clowns I have particularly the female, im curious as to why. The lubbock will just flash and swim in place for several minutes at a time. The weirdest thing I've seen in a while.

First fish to put flame in his place. That said over the weekend flame took the spot back. I have never really found aggressive fish and peaceful to follow true. I had a pintail beat up a lineatus and that’s how he got a spinal injury

The mystery wrasse is like a honey badger. I had one but sold it because I wanted to keep other wrasses in my tank.

I believe this is a cebu, iirc from ident in this thread. Been home the past few days so I can tank watch and I'm noticing a random flashing around the pair of skunk clowns I have particularly the female, im curious as to why. The lubbock will just flash and swim in place for several minutes at a time. The weirdest thing I've seen in a while.

Yeah, that’s a Cebu Lubbocki. They seem to get larger than an Indonesian does and somewhat faster too.

My little mcCosker took a long time to come out of rocks because the 6” Hemi was to much for him. Couple weeks ago McCosker thought he was ready to join all fish in the middle of feeding frenzy. When Hemi went full speed to grab food McCosker was going for that was all he could handle. Back to hiding. Hemi won’t hurt him but wants to be friends. One flash and McCcosker is gone

My guy is not afraid of anyone flash and snaps at anyone that try’s him. I’m falling in love with this flasher.

My two Halis have finally gotten used to the camera so I got some decent shots of their current colour states as transitional males.
Obviously the Jade wasn’t up for photos after a while… I know they say dogs are like their owners but I have never related to a fish more.

Great shots of great fish!!! I wondered if I kept an old phone by the glass of fish would get use to it and not spook when taking photos. I just caught rhomboid and put him in an acclimation box that’s how I got so close. He is stressed

I wish I could see the jade in person. Looks like a stunner. Wish my radiant was younger like yours. Mine has been full grown 1.5 - 2 years. He is a think boy.
