Yep! I have a Wyze camera pointed at my tank so that I can watch the tank anytime I want. Definitely gives you peace of mind when you're away from your tank on vacation, etc.

I use a camera on my nano and every so often I’ll just see the fish I rarely see at home (the Pink Streaks specifically)

Peaceful and reef safe. Great with other wrasses. Awesome fish, always out and about. Diet somewhere between a leopard and a fairy. Very fast moving, sleep in the sand like a leopard, so need that sand to sleep at night.

High metabolism so feed frequently, and prone to intestinal parasites, so make sure to deworm. Also prone to damage during shipping, so make sure to get a healthy specimen and give it time to acclimate.

That is a Claudia and you may be able to mix it with the trio you have however expect aggression from the other two hali's whilst they sort out a Hierarchy change.

I was considering adding the Claudia in an acclimation box but since it sleeps in the sand at night I could only do that for about 8 hours or so right? Not sure the box would be that helpful in that case. Any thoughts or should I not worry about the aggression between the 3 Hali's as much?

Our Melanarus Wrasse. He is so full of personality. Super chill. Loves Bristleworms.

Our Yellow Coris Wrasse, he is our most active swimmer. He loves Shrimp and Bristleworms. He is a very active eater.

our Mystery wrasse “Willy Wonka” he is the most chill fish ever. He loves to eat and he loves to sneak up on the tangs.

Our Leopard Wrasse (with our two fire clowns) she is so calm and very graceful, she loves pods and mysis.

My favorite wrasse we ever had. (He sadly passed due to a velvet outbreak) My China Pearl wrasse named Herman. He would swim against my hand and spit water out the top of the tank if he wanted to be fed. One day I’ll get another.

Great collection. How long have you had the mystery wrasse. Interested to see if his temperament changes much as he ages.

The sand bed will be the acclimation box.

I’ve found wrasses don’t really need acclimation boxes unless they’re similar to Paracheilinus or Cirrhilabrus where they sleep in the rocks. Halichoeres will acclimate through the sand and if there is a bit of aggression (Hierarchal aggression), it will more than likely die down over a few days.
I find Hierarchal aggression to be different to the aggression you’d normally think of. Hierarchal aggression dies down no matter what fish it is, pure aggression may not die down until the fish is dead.

Honestly, pencils are slightly harder than anampses is what I find. Feeding them can be rather difficult but once they’re on that diet they can be rather easy. Acclimating them into captivity is also never easy unless it’s done for you, as always males will have a harder time acclimating than females.
Their diet is along the lines of the diet that Anampses and Macropharyngodon usually need. I personally disagree with what Fishfreak has said, the reason why is Cirrhilabrus will feed on a diet of phytoplankton in the wild, in captivity they eat almost everything that floats in the tank. This includes pellets, mysis, brine, krill, flakes ect. Pseudojuloides feeds on copepods, amphipods, small worms and other small crustaceans in the wild. In captivity these will feed on mainly live at first. Getting them onto frozen can be difficult, however if you have the patience it’s possible.

With other peaceful wrasses these are just fine. If you have an “aggressive” gang then it may not work out however nothings set in stone. With other fish its often ignored but again, aggression plays a part.

I just put my two leopard in an acclimation box together with some sand. They gave been sleeping in similar trays of sand the last 12 nights during qt

Thanks! He was a rare find for me as my LFS doesn't usually get male pencils bc of their poor survival rates after shipping. As the others have said, they're very peaceful; they won't bother other fish or inverts. They're shy upon initial introduction, but once acclimated they're out and about all the time. They're easily bullied so you'll have to be mindful of tankmates.
