The Lubbock eats like a pig. The hoody is a bit shy atm.

My female Splendid Pencil Wasse is changing. She has more colors as seen below. Black tail, more green/blue and black tail

If you are able to get her to eat, you should get her. Feed her small mysis, possible cut the mysis in segments to feed her.

I went to an LFS today to trade in a couple of corals and they had 2 1" Chrysus and 2 3/4" Macropharyngodon leopards in their DT.

I did not bring her home. She was double the price that my LFS sells them for. I was only at this place to kill time before checking out the tank I'm buying next weekend.

For tiny wrasse like that you must have her in a grow-out tank first. Get her larger before release her to the DT.

Yes, I know.
I have a 10, 15, 20, and 55. I wasn't planning on bringing her home, just showing off the cuteness. At the price they had her, there was no way anyway, close to $100.
Im not buying anymore fish anytime soon, but if she had been a better price, I would have made room.

Because she was SO small. There's no way she would survive in any of my tanks. She'd be beaten up, eaten, or starved to death.

Out of the blue my sixline has started popping its dorsal fin and chasing around my royal gramma, even nipping at its tail. Until this the gramma was the king of the tank, and they’ve been living together peacefully m for 5 months. Any ideas what could cause aggression suddenly?
Things that have changed in the last week:
- added a power head to the tank for increased flow
- put a small rock structure somewhere that was previously only sand
- dosed flucanazole for bryopsis

I hate to say it but it's likely Six-Line puberty. Sometimes they're model citizens forever, but often they flip a switch one day and become psycho raging dummies.

He was never a model citizen either…. I’m guessing rehoming is the only real solution? How long should I wait before deciding it’s not gonna get any better?
