New wrasse alert. I'm up to 3 wrasses in my tank now. Rookie numbers around here, I know. An Male Ornate, Female Meleagris, and this Tamarin. They all get along well. I really want a Radiant.

Well, it's been over a week and the moyeri still hasn't popped up.
Starting to street a little bit.
She probably comes out at night. Depending on many things like tank mates and her strength she can hide more months. If she buried she had strength and that’s a start. Weak leopard won’t burry. They can survive off pods in your tank in the meantime

Ohh, I keep trying to source Choati again, I loved my brief experience with one. She was 1 inch if not smaller, ate everything and anything I would add, just a shame she vanished in March.

They seem to vanish overtime. All mine do great after qt. I would like to try and figure out what it exactly is that takes them out. I just don’t have the energy or time to try and figure it out. Over the winter maybe

Not saying that’s why you lost yours as many things it could be.

I used to think it was some unmet dietary requirement as they would do well for 6-12 months and then suddenly vanish. But we have no issues keeping other members of the genus like vivien, meleagris, ornatus, moyers etc. Just the chaoti and negrosensis. Can’t see the dietary requirements would be that different. Strange.

After a week and a half, my Moyer's wrasse finally came out. He was immadiately attacked by the hooded fairy. Considering the fairy also killed my tri-color, i need to find him a new home. I hate that I have to do this. I've never returned an animal.

A bathyphilus? Was it a large male?

The lining is to tell from the photos but if I were to guess, it’d be a carpenteri that either hasn’t fully transitioned or just hasn’t displayed too frequently.
