She probably comes out at night. Depending on many things like tank mates and her strength she can hide more months. If she buried she had strength and that’s a start. Weak leopard won’t burry. They can survive off pods in your tank in the meantimeWell, it's been over a week and the moyeri still hasn't popped up.
Starting to street a little bit.
Also it you can without messing up nutrients it doesn’t hurt to leave nori if you feed it over night. Many wrasse will eat it while they adjustWell, it's been over a week and the moyeri still hasn't popped up.

Ohh, I keep trying to source Choati again, I loved my brief experience with one. She was 1 inch if not smaller, ate everything and anything I would add, just a shame she vanished in March.I’m a sucker for small leopards, pipefish, mandarins and butterfy fish. I walked away from this small chunk but think I need to start up qt again she not a Viviens but will do![]()
They seem to vanish overtime. All mine do great after qt. I would like to try and figure out what it exactly is that takes them out. I just don’t have the energy or time to try and figure it out. Over the winter maybeOhh, I keep trying to source Choati again, I loved my brief experience with one. I used to think it was some unmet dietary requirement as they would do well for 6-12 months and then suddenly vanish. But we have no issues keeping other members of the genus like vivien, meleagris, ornatus, moyers etc. Just the chaoti and negrosensis. Can’t see the dietary requirements would be that different. Not saying that’s why you lost yours as many things it could be.
A bathyphilus? Was it a large male? After a week and a half, my Moyer's wrasse finally came out. He was immadiately attacked by the hooded fairy. Considering the fairy also killed my tri-color, i need to find him a new home. I hate that I have to do this. I've never returned an animal.
Looks like Cirrhilabrus rubeus to mePicked these up at the lfs can anyone ID the one with white marks on top of the eyes. They had it labeled as “flasher wrasse”
The lining is to tell from the photos but if I were to guess, it’d be a carpenteri that either hasn’t fully transitioned or just hasn’t displayed too frequently.
