I've got a six line as well
except there has been no aggression, I dropped the fairy wrasse right in front of the sixline, and it did nothing but forage for more podsGuess we know why he is hiding.

As was said ... give it some time ... it is probably just in hiding for a few days ...I finally pulled the trigger on a yellow flanked fairy wrasse, but after acclimation and qt, he disappeared.. just gone, it's been a day now and I'm getting worried, any ideas?
Cirrhilabrus wrasses do NOT bury in the sand.Do you have sand in there ? In a crack of a rock or worst case the floor ?
That could well be a problem; Pseudocheilinus wrasses do not make good tankmates for any other wrasses.and I've got a six line as well
A couple days after introduction is reasonable, but after that they should not be hiding at all. If they are, it's either a sign of a aggression from another tankmate or its health is compromised. How long do fairies usually hide, I've read awhile, but all online reports also say they come out during feeding time, but mine hasnt
Quite possibly.Guess we know why he is hiding.
But a lot can happen when you're not looking. I suspect if the sixline is not yet a problem, it soon will be alongside a Cirrhilabrus wrasse.except there has been no aggression, I dropped the fairy wrasse right in front of the sixline, and it did nothing but forage for more pods
Better pic of my lineatus taken by my buddy Shin.

It's certainly a Paracheilinus (flasher); carpenteri is a strong possibility but we'd need a better photo to be certain. And one more. This one was sold as a blue side fairy but in think its a carpenters?
Awesome Attenuatus Marshall, yours looks nice and red. Me and Hunter were talking about how dark ours have become.
Check out the difference,
