There's something fishy about this build...

Realized I can't do much volcano stuff and diving and will definitely need to review the regulations and my elevation. Might take off the last two days and just hike the last day? @Stang67
Yeah no diving 24hrs before flying is the conservative rule. Never realized elevation there may be an issue. Me no hikey so unk on that aspect of things.

Apparently no more then 2000ft 12 hours after diving which is an issue with Hawaii as the island goes up to 14,000feet apparently
The observatory is pretty cool if you get a chance. There is a hike from there if you're feeling froggy.

Maybe don't go to the top? Seems like alot of work for vacation.
Its going to be hard to just follow the 2000ft/600m rule. Of course I could just free dive and hike the last few days like I did in Maui. I'm a good free diver and a bad scuba diver anyway.

What is free diving?

We went to the conservatory to see the stars. Really cool, but we had to leave. Three of us were feeling symptoms of altitude sickness. I didn't think it was that high, but was suddenly out of breath and dizzy. Wife and her clone were worse.

It's above the clouds. Super cool to drive up when it's cloudy, drive through the clouds, and look out at the tops of the clouds when you emerge.

Snorkeling but emphasis on diving

A very oversimplified explanation would be no gear and essentially just holding your breath.
I mean it is that simple :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Well, you do use  some gear, and breath control is paramount; but, yeah...

Swimming? Sweet, I'm going free diving next time I'm near warm water!
