Closest I’ve come is a hotpot place in Lexington KY of all places. They took it as a challenge and had a supply of Carolina Reapers that the chef loved. Half my bowl was reapers. The people at the next table said it made their eyes burn

I had a guy that used to work with me that would bring me ghost peppers for our company Christmas parties. Most of the Mexicans at the table told me I was crazy for eating them.

And my field sup in Mozambique was of Indian descent. I don't remember what part of India, but their family dinners were amaaazing!

My favorite though is lamb vindaloo, extra spicy! I miss London and having like 10 good Indian restaurants within a 10 min walk (and 10 not so good ones, but hey, a 20-something's gotta eat!)
