I've been on the fence about clams for a while... I almost broke when @Miami Reef got those golden maximas that turned out green.

All my new small clams were from ORA.


The 3 green ones are Ultra Grade. The blue one is 1st Grade

The 2 blue ones are 1st Grade, and the other is Ultra Gold

From left to right: Ultra Grade, Ultra Grade, Ultra Gold, LFS

This is the tier list: Ultra Grade > 1st Grade > Ultra Gold > Gold

Here are 2 Golds that I got. The first picture is crap, so I put a second picture of them mixed with others prior to mounting them.

Fwiw, when people refer to windex/ blue tank- yours isn't included. Your tank is pretty white to today's standards. You can tell by how you can see stuff.
Did you take the teal bulbs out?
I think you were just starting the conversation. But if you really feel how you were saying then get over it/ don't be insecure- your tank is gorgeous and very healthy. Most can only wish to operate a system like that. Be proud!

Like you, I like 10-14k. Currently running pheonix14k bulbs and have a stash of ushio 10k's I've been itching to put on.. corals can take a while to adapt and it really depends on the corals you're getting. Most of the fanciest glow corals are dark brown if you shine a flashlight at them. It's fun trying to see what colors you can get out of them. Most of the old corals look better in whiter light. I've only used t5s for supplement, but with mh brown means give more light- longer duration seems to do the trick.
The collectable section of bc website is packed with white light corals. Look at plugs and egg crate to judge whiteness.
