There's something fishy about this build...

Really? Mine are like "Hey, hey you! Over here! Turn around. Turn your chair around. Oh, he turned around!! Let's go guys, now's our chance, cross swim pattern, and NOW! C'mon pencil wrasse, we practiced this! Swish, swish, glide. Don't you flash your fins at me. You would be nowhere if I wasn't lifting you up out of the sand bed! And now he's back in the sand bed, great! The rest of you round up, we're running the backup plan. Now pick at the rocks like there's nothing more interesting in the ocean! That's right, pick! He's still looking! He's reaching for the tube of bountiful yummies!! Wait, no!! That ugly non-food man came in and now they are Talking! Back to drills guys, wake up pencil wrasse or by Neptune I'll give him Ick! We get one shot at this, guys, one shot! Are you with me? Why did the foxface leave? He looked at the glass? Didn't we say not to let him look directly at the glass? Know what? We're breaking for the day. I'm gonna go huff palys. If anyone needs me, I'll be hovering under the shelf that holds mutilated corals."
Oh my fish. "are we being fed yet? No? I'll just gaze longingly at this rock."

My anthias was more visible in the daytime when the second was still alive. I hate buying fish. I hate it so much.
They just DIE DIE DIE. No visiable disease, no heavy breathing. Eat fine and DEAD.

At least I can say excluding torches, I know most of their deaths are my fault. Torches can die from stem rot which is probably on the importer, seller for fragging and gluing in contaminated water.

Where I was, doesn't show where my reef is going.

Reefing is a warzone!

So any ideas? I'd tell a joke but I'm not allowed to use my sharp wit.
@dodojojo you guys open these by the truckload right?

By the pallet full and I've never heeded that caution message in my career ahahaha

My sun conure is so annoying sometimes. He sits on my shoulder and rips holes in all my shirts.

Once I tried on new linen pants, and he instantly made a hole while I wasn’t looking for one second. Seriously?!?
peking duck kao ya GIF

lol... j/k

I bought a tank. It's gonna have fish and water and stuff.
In all some seriousness, this tank is to replace my original tank, which was used, jerry-rigged together, and terrible. I hope to do better with this one.

The tank:
It's a ProStar 150 Peninsula. 48x24x24 110-gallon with a 30-gallon sump (as we all know, 110+30=150). It came with no instruction manual save a single image so hopefully it is that easy to put together otherwise I'm screwed as those who know me know what a useless plumber I am. For lights, I am starting with an AI Blade Grow and Glow. The plan is to get two more Blades, probably a Freshwater (to get red and more white lights) and another Grow. For flow, I am using Jebao because it is cheap.

Any product at this price point that does not come with an instruction or set-up manual is a return in my view. A show-stopper so to speak. I think this is very disrespectful to the customer. And it seems to me that the designation '150" is inaccurate - perhaps intentionally so. If the inside dimension of the display of the Pro-Star 150 is 48" x 24" x 24" this equivalent to 119 gallons. What filtration comes with this aquarium, if any? Best of luck.

Well he did the math. 110 + 30 = 150g.

The answer of that math is in his post you quoted.

I never did ask him what the sump dimension water line measured. His acros seem happy enough.

It comes with a 35 gallon sump. Everything was preinstalled. All it needed was to screw two pipes together and attach the return pump. It was so easy I don’t think anyone would need instructions.

Also 2250 for a 120 low iron rimless, with stand and sump is a bad deal?

Put your guitar in Db instead of F#? Then it's a flat instrument instead of sharp?

Umm

So I have a really weird question.

What is that thing and why is it dangling?

Disco ball coral obviously

Jk I had a gold lepta that I couldn't get to stay glued down and my fish and inverts kept rolling it until it had grown into a almost perfect sphere. So I thought what if I tied it and let it dangle. Thus we have the unique disco ball coral!

I just showed this to my wife. She loves it.
All it takes is a tough coral and some fishing line :face-with-tears-of-joy:

And years of keeping one. I found they are not aggressive towards even porites coral. It was more of a risk of being injured than causing injury. I wonder what experiences others have with them.
I have one in a cave under low par. It doesn't bother anyone.
