I got this about 8 months ago as a browned out wild sps frag from a local reefer. Changed colors completely.

Any ID and thoughts is it worth the real estate space?

Not sure on ID but that is a NICE looking coral! I'd give it lots of real estate if that were my tank :D

A. Loripes maybe?

Most smoothies are very colorful, but need a wide spectrum if lighting. They can take a few years to fully change colors under artificial lighting.

Awesome coral, looks like half loripes and half turaki :). Not sure what it really is but I love the growth form your getting!

Sorry for reviving a zombie thread but, Me thinks its A. granulosa
