Look for flaming prawn gobies, tank raised catalina. There are some very small goby species out there that will do fine. Small shrimps, hermits will do well. Keep it simple. If you have time you can do 100 percent water changes weekly.

That is my plan to get a small goby. What are some small shrimps?

Sexy shrimp are smaller ornamental shrimp and should be kept in groups of 3 or more. 5 would be good and they don’t get more than a half inch. They get their name from the sexy dance they do together. If you get one or more rock flower anemones they will host these shrimp. A neat symbiotic relationship. Google them. My favorite go to shrimp is the skunk cleaner shrimp always out and about and cleans my hand whenever it’s in the tank.
