An ow-10 can be dialed down to work in that tank. Put it on the back wall in wave 1 mode and keep the power at 1 and go from their. This will move water but not the sand if pointed towards the surface. Wave mode goes on/off every second. You can adjust the time faster or slower too.
Hey so my Jebao just got here and it looked really strong, my royal gramma was struggling against the current and some of my sand was being picked up. I put it at the very top of the tank as well. What can I do?

What mode are you running.
Try wave 1. Power 1. Adjust dial for pulse, left is faster, right slower.
Mine goes on off every second with the dial at 12:00
To start, thank you for continuing to help me I really do appreciate you for not just stranding me haha. It’s quite late to adjust so I left it out of the tank for now. Is It possible you could snap a pic of your controller so I could match it as well? Thanks in advance

I know you said the Nero 3 is out of your budget so I guess I’m just responding to let you know that a small wave maker would be perfect in your tank. I have a Nero 3 in my 14 gallon and it along with a strong return pump creates good flow in my tank. I run the Nero 3 pretty low really. I also have an AI prime and the Nero runs in the same program which makes it really nice.

I also wanted to add that I haven’t found LPS any harder than softies. I do a lot of waster testing and rented a par meter and spent some good time adjusting flow but in general my LPS corals have been just as easy as softies. I even split a hammer in 2 while trying to cut it. I just glued the 2 halves together and it’s been recovering just fine.

Also what size is your aquarium?
I run a ow-10 in my 30g 24x20x18 bit it has a 4" sandbed.
I run 2 ow-25's in my 45 36x24x12 amd 1 ow-25 in my 20g nano 18" cube.
This is the ow-10 controller. Im at power 2, wave 1, and the dial at 12:00.
You can put the ow deeper in the tank and point it up.
Here is the ow-10 in my 30g remote.
The ow-10 is now on the back wall.

Guys please help I realized my hammer coral hasn’t been fully opening and is starting to cover more skeleton. I did some research that says it might be splitting and growing a new head but I just got this piece less than 2 weeks ago and it seems unlikely to me that this is happening. I also heard of the term tearing could that be what’s happening

Parms (all API besides magnesium)

Salinity 1.025
Nitrate 15
Phos .25
dkh 9 sometimes 10
Calcium 400
Mag 1300 (Salifert)
