I haven’t had to. If anyone ever wants to get rid of some in Madison/Milwaukee area, I would always be willing to take some

I get this and I have done it too. If you think about it, though, would you throw away an anemone split? Would you buy a Tang for your Nuvo 20 and throw it away when it got too big? Isn’t buying a fast growing Montipora capricornis for a nano as irresponsible as adding a Hippo Tang? Corals are carnivorous animals, yet we treat them like plants. Not judging, not saying anything is wrong, just playing devil’s advocate.
Ohhhh yesssss please!Frogspawn ??
I throw away frags of Homewrecker almost monthly...
A twist on this subject, I text a reefer I know in another town, set up a meet day and drop off coral, (fish and anemones once), I figure it’s a reefer discount, give them to someone who has space or knows others that can house them.
I’m actually in upstate ny lol. Anywhere near Norwich or oneonta?I've thrown away plenty of LPS, and softie clippings. My LFS is a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive, and they won't take anything in on trade. I have no reef club close by, and no one around me is a reefer. There are a few FOWLR tanks around, but they do not want to get into corals.
I've thrown away so many clippings and dead skeletons(when I first started out) in the woods next to my house, in a 1000 years scientists will think this part of upstate NY was once covered in a dense reef. lol
I'm in Old Forge. Your just a bit south of me. lol I frequent ABC reefs in Syracuse, and my favorite in the area are ARC and Caribbean Forest. One of these days I'll make it up to Green Mountain Corals in VT(it's actually closer then ARC). Went there one time when they were supposed to be open, but they were not.I’m actually in upstate ny lol. Anywhere near Norwich or oneonta?
