I did a major rescape when I initially had caribsea rocks. Used a mixture of gulf rock in sump and bought art reef rock. Probably rescaped 4 times since. Almost happy with it …. Might have issues lol

I just did a major AquaScape reset after 4 years on my 110G Office Tank.

From this.....

To this....

By doing this....

I bleached the rocks after my 110G built up a nice collection of pests (Aiptasia and the very invasive Purple Star Polyps that took over all the rocks)

Final Aquascape .....

I only bleached DT rocks. I left the Sump intact (alive) so everything would age more quickly. Minimal cycle. The rocks seem to be aging nicely one month later.

No corals will be put back till things fully age.

I plan on re-aquascaping in 2024! One of the rocks at the bottom of my sculpture is covered in Green Palys as well as Green mushrooms. I’m more than happy with how my tank looks as is. However, if I do not remove the rock I mentioned, My whole aquascape will soon be overrun by the green Palys and Green mushrooms. Despite my best efforts there will most likely be a rock collapse when I remove it. No time better to give the tank a whole new look.
